I have been with love2care for 4 years now & my role is care coordinator - all things rosters! The job no one else really wants, but I love! Sometimes challenging, mostly rewarding…who doesn’t like a challenge anyway?! Matching clients, with small care teams enabling both parties to build relationships, routines & trust with each other. Planning our amazing care staff’s rosters on a weekly basis to enable staff to have that home/work life balance ensuring they are happy within their role here at love2care. I have worked in the care industry for over 10 years now, starting off as a carer out in the community & moving across into an office role when I had my children. I couldn’t be happier working for love2care, I love my job & the team we have here, providing the best care possible to all the lovely clients that we support.

Love 2 Care - experts in home care services // Paignton, Devon

Hi, I’m a compliancy coordinator. I began my love2care journey in 2021 as a Trainee Coordinator. I had worked in the Care Industry for many years but Coordinating was a slightly different role for me. I support with spot checks & supervisions with the staff & meet the people we support to do their initial care plans & regular reviews.

I love having relationships with the clients & doing my best to support them to meet their outcomes & reach their goals. I also deliver hands on care regularly. This allows me to build relationships & have a better understanding of the people we care for. I get great fulfilment from being able to help from the daily care delivery right up to liaising with social workers about how best to support the people in our community.

I have worked here at love2care since 2018. Due to my passion for training & upskilling people, Maddy & I recently develop The Training Suite. The Training Suite is a training / developmental arm of love2care, established to enhance our offer of external training to our community as well as our Love2care staff team! I’m passionate about encouraging people to learn & nourishing their confidence so my role as a Specialist Trainer is perfect for me. Within my role I also support the day-to-day management of the service, & act as one of the on-call managers for the service out of hours, to ensure our team is always well supported. I love to build great relationships & support our team, our clients & their support bubbles. If you'd like to find out more about the training I offer please visit www.thetrainingsuite.uk

Love 2 Care - experts in home care services // Paignton, Devon

I have been with love2care since the very beginning. I am a compliance coordinator. This means I get to go out & visit the lovely people we support, create their care plans, capture the information so that it is person centred & keep in touch to ensure they are happy with the service & needs are being meet. This is one of my favourite parts in my role as I get to know the person & help paint a picture of their care needs to the carers. I love going back out & seeing them at the care reviews. I also ensure we are compliant with CQC with regular care reviews, spot checks, supervisions & team meetings. I love delivering hands on care as I can go out & care for the people we support. We had some recent feedback from a family member saying how much of a difference it makes with management going out and delivering care!

  • Our Now: Flourishing in the Present
Today, Love to Care stands as a beacon of outstanding home care services, thriving because of our unwavering commitment to our core values. We've achieved a 'Rated Outstanding' status by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and exceeded standards with the Provider Assessment and Market Management Solution (PAMMS). Our approach to care is personal, professional, and always compassionate. We take pride in our dedicated team who work tirelessly to maintain high continuity of care, ensuring that each client receives the personalised attention they deserve.
  • Our Then: The Foundation of Love to Care
Our story began with a heartfelt mission: to transform the landscape of domiciliary care. Founded by Maddy and David, Love to Care was born out of a desire to infuse the industry with genuine compassion and exceptional service. Frustrated with the status quo and inspired by personal experiences, we embarked on a journey to create a service where the quality of care and the well-being of clients and carers alike were paramount. It was our belief in a better way that laid the groundwork for what Love to Care stands for today.
  • Our Vision/Purpose: The Heart of Our Endeavour
At Love to Care, our vision is simple yet profound—to provide care that we would be proud for our own family to receive. Our purpose goes beyond daily tasks; it's about creating meaningful relationships, enriching lives, and being a trusted partner in a person's care journey. This vision fuels our passion and guides our decisions every day.
  • Our Achievements: Celebrating Our Successes
We celebrate our achievements not as trophies but as milestones in our journey to provide the best domiciliary care possible. From our exceptional CQC ratings to the heartwarming testimonials from families, each accomplishment reinforces our commitment to our work. Our success is measured by the smiles we bring to the peoples' faces, the peace of mind we provide to their families, and the sense of fulfilment we share as a team.
  • Our Next: A Future Focused on Our Clients
Moving forward, our vision remains clear: to continue putting the people we support at the centre of our care model. We are dedicated to advancing our services, embracing innovation, and furthering our reach to meet the growing needs of our community. Our person-centred approach ensures that we remain adaptable, responsive, and wholly focused on enhancing the lives of those we support.
  • Person centered approach
We are a person-centred organisation, and this philosophy extends to our staff. Your growth, well-being, and professional development matter to us because we know that when you thrive, our clients do too.
  • Permanent contracts
We offer permanent contracts to give you job security and peace of mind. We believe in fostering long-term relationships, not just with our clients but with our team members as well.
  • Fair & Honest Pay
We understand the importance of feeling valued, which is why we offer a salary that includes time for travel and additional costs for travelling between clients. We ensure we are always fair and always honest.
  • Teamwork & support
At Love to Care, teamwork is at the core of what we do. You'll be part of a supportive and collaborative environment where every member is valued and empowered to contribute to the best of their ability.
  • Focused on people we support
To enhance the quality of care and allow for meaningful connections, we assign our carers to a regular group of people to support. This enables you to get to know the individuals you're supporting and understand their needs on a deeper level.
  • How long does ear microsuction take?
If both ears are affected the process takes approximately 30 minutes.
  • What is the difference between Microsuction & Irrigation?
When electronic ear irrigator is used; it involves a pressurised flow of warm water that removes the build-up of earwax. The irrigator has variable pressure control so that irrigation can be performed at the minimum pressure. This is still again a safe way of removing ear wax. The difference is, irrigation is used to clear ear wax that is to deep in the ear canal for micro suctioning. Once irrigation is completed your ears must day dry in the shower for 3 days (we advised ear plugs) and must not go under water for 7 days. With certain medication this guideline smay differ and for individuals that wear hearing aids please keep these out for 3 hours.
  • Is ear microsuction painful?
Most patients report minimal discomfort during the procedure. Our trained professionals prioritize your comfort throughout the process.
  • What preparation is required prior to ear microsuction?
If you have very hard wax, we like you to insert two olive oil eardrops into the affected ear 3 times a day (unless you wear hearing aids then once a day at night only) for 3 days before the procedure. Alternatively, you could use olive oil spray, Earol spray, Otex or Cerumol olive oil drops.
  • How often should I have my ears microsuctioned?
This varies per individual depending on earwax production. We recommend a consultation to determine your specific needs.
